STATUS: Per Diem: LOCATION: WorkReady: DEPARTMENT: Employee and Occupational Health: ATTRIBUTES: Committed to the field of employee health/occupational medicine Background or interest in orthopedics, sports medicine, or urgent care preferred Excellent customer service and leadership skills Patient focused, with demonstrated care and compassion Exceptional communication and documentation skills: Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision RESPONSIBILITIES: Patient Care. Synthesize and interpret history, physical examination and diagnostic testing data; develop a diagnosis, initiate treatment and health maintenance plan; select and order appropriate diagnostic and health maintenance procedures; refer patients to collaborating physician, specialist and/or appropriate community services or agencies; prescribe medication, perform minor procedures and coordinate treatment Leadership.
