Overview Savannah River Mission Completion, LLC (SRMC) is seeking a Senior Manager, Field Safety and Health to be based in our Aiken, SC location on the Savannah River Site. The Senior Manager, Field Safety and Health manages the Radiological Control Programs for assigned facilities and/or areas along with coordination of other Safety & Health Programs (i.e., Safety & Industrial Hygiene). Formulates and implements policies and practices to ensure the radiological health of employees. Provides management oversight to ensure adherence to DOE, regulatory, and/or company rules and regulations. Maintains programs that will protect the occupational safety and health of employees, the public and the environment. Responsibilities: - Manages, directs and integrates the facility's Radiation Protection Program by: coordinating with the Business Unit Safety, Health & QA Manager to establish expectations and ensure communications between S&HO and the facility; resolving technical issues; managing the implementation of program improvements relative to employee performance through Conduct of Operations initiatives; and providing management oversight to ensure that RadCon and facility operations p...
