Dr. Clayton’s research program is translational in nature and is primarily focused on cardio-oncology, such that his group employs studies of cells, mice and human participants to understand how cancer and common cancer therapeutics (i.e., chemotherapy and radiation) influence the cardiovascular system. The desired applicant will have experience in cardiovascular health-focused studies in both human participants and mice and demonstrate a track-record of seeing projects through to completion.
