Job DetailsJob Location: K2 - Kilgore, TX 75662Position Overview: Responsible for welding in a variety of applications including skid fabrication, pedestal and sub assembly fabrication, welding pedestals, brackets, and braces to skids. Responsibilities/Job Duties: Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures Weld components according to the company’s welding procedure specifications (WPS) Operate angle grinders, plasma cutter, and/or torch to prepare the parts that must be welded Align structural beams with clamp pieces as necessary Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead) Support a philosophy of zero accidents by following all applicable safety procedures and maintaining equipment to operate in the safest way possible Adhere to company policy, procedures, and rules Adhere to safety requirements by wearing appropriate protective gear Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude Flexibility to work hours necessary to meet plant requirements Need minimal instructions of pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job Perform various other duties an...
