Role Summary The Engineering Design and Development Manager is responsible for all design engineering activities for the Americas Industrial Business. He/she approves the developed products as well as the technical standards, and steers the continuous improvement processes in the area of responsibility. Main Tasks: Design & Development: - Ensure compliance with the technical standards for the locally developed products within a specific product group - Approve the results of the customer negotiations regarding the specifications of the products to be designed, participate in the presentations of the developed products to the customer - Approve/steer the development of the design concepts for the products (3D models, tolerance calculations, etc.) - Navigate business units and build structures for the engineering group to work within.
