Job Title: Shop Service Technician Department: Service: Reports To: Service Supervisor / Service Manager Position Summary: Kimball Equipment is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Shop Service Technician to diagnose, repair, rebuild, and prepare crushing, screening, and aggregate equipment within the shop. This role supports field operations by ensuring equipment is properly inspected, serviced, and ready for deployment. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment. Key Responsibilities: - Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on crushing, screening, and aggregate equipment in the shop. - Disassemble, inspect, rebuild, and reassemble components and equipment to manufacturer specifications. - Prepare new and used equipment for delivery, including setup, testing, and quality checks. - Conduct detailed equipment inspections and document findings. - Complete accurate service reports, work orders, and parts usage documentation. - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment. - Operate shop equipment such as forklifts, cranes, welders, and other tools safely. - Work closely with Parts...
