Temporary Non-Registered Dietitian POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for all aspects of care of patients as part of the healthcare team. Nutritional care includes, but is not limited to, assessment, performance of nutrition-focused physical examination, nutrition care planning, education and its implementation and follow-up. Develop and implement nutrition care plan based on assessment of nutritional needs, current nutrition related problems and psychosocial status. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Consult with health-care professionals concerning patient’s nutritional care, evidence for malnutrition-related diagnoses, and recommendations for appropriate nutritional therapy. - Counsel individuals and families in nutritional principals of their specific disease state, assist in meal planning, nutritional supplements and special product selection. Monitor pertinent laboratory values. Conduct objective studies (eq.
