Description Title: Senior AV/VTC Applications Engineer: Location: Mark Center VA: Duration: Long Term: Clearance required: DOD Secret: Requirements: OVERVIEW: A Senior AV/VTC Applications Engineer designs, installs, configures, and maintains complex audiovisual and video teleconferencing systems, often for secure government environments. Key duties include upgrading systems, troubleshooting, and acting as a technical subject-matter expert, usually requiring a DoD Security Clearance, 5+ years of experience, and expertise in Crestron/AMX control systems DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - System Engineering & Design: Perform site surveys to evaluate, design, and document AV/VTC systems, including creating Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical diagrams. - Installation & Integration: Oversee deployment and installation of audio/video hardware, including displays, projectors, microphones, and control systems. - VTC Administration: Configure and maintain video conferencing endpoints and software platforms. - Technical Expertise: Act as a subject-matter expert on AV/VTC controls, signal distribution, and network integration. - Perform limited system programming and configuration to support int...
