Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Job Responsibilities: Provides preventive maintenance to maintain efficient equipment operation. Assists in the maintenance and repairs of production equipment. Provides general building maintenance including but not limited to snow removal, ground maintenance, general building maintenance, and painting. Keeps maintenance log as required. Keeps maintenance supervisor advised of equipment spare parts needed. Coordinates with department supervisors when machines must be taken offline for maintenance. Works on high voltage electrical equipment and wiring to perform repair and installations. Oversees contractor work for facility modification and repair.
