Accelerator operator 80-100% The Paul Scherrer Institute PSI is the largest research institute for natural and engineering sciences within Switzerland. In cooperation with the expert groups the section Operation is responsible for the operation off all four accelerators to offer the users ideal conditions for their experiments. For the operations group of HIPA we are looking for an Your tasks: Your main task is shift work, about 70%, in operating the PSI accelerators (3-shifts / 7-day operation) from the main control room and about 30% other tasks suited to your specific abilities, e.g. programming or beam dynamics simulations.
