You can help us with that mission in the pre-registration department as a Pre-registration Representative . Your pleasant, friendly demeanor will set the tone as you contact patients and family members to complete pre-registration and other documents, help patients understand their liability, promptly return patient phone calls and inform patients of important items to bring to their procedures. Responsibilities: - Contacts patients and/or family members to complete pre-registration of demographic/visit information and documents outcomes per documentation standards. - Informs patient of estimated patient liability within regulatory required timelines and collects appropriate co-payments, coinsurances, deposits and payments over the phone. - Returns patient phone calls, answers patient inquiries regarding logistical information, informs patients of critical items to bring to the procedure. - Completes assigned administrative and downtime activities. - Works in collaboration with most Revenue Cy...
