Job Description: Welders are responsible for safely MIG welding pre-assembled structural steel products to meet the quality standards and specifications demanded by our Quality Assurance Program and of our industry regulators Responsibilities: - Perform various fit-up and tacking operations on a variety of structural assemblies - Interpret weld symbols and follow weld procedures - Adding stiffeners, brackets, faceplates, etc. using shop orders for location before finish welding - Perform production GMAW operations on a variety of plate, bars, channel, and related materials working off shop orders and/or verbal instructions - Setting welding machine to assure uniform bead, adequate penetration with minimum wrap - Utilizing cutting torch as required - Performing clea...
