Warehouse Shipping Lead - 18218 Description: Oversee daily warehouse staff/operations ensuring that all outgoing orders are accurate, packed correctly, shipped correctly and processed in the system of record. What you will be responsible for: - Ensure that all warehouse personnel follow policies and procedures for inventory-handling. Direct warehouse personnel as necessary. - Inspect outgoing material against shipping paperwork. - Ensure material is packed according to the requirement of the order. - Verify outgoing orders to repair vendors are accurate - Schedule pickup from commercial carriers - Responsible for maintaining accuracy of the MIS and accuracy of the physical inventory. - All other duties as assigned Qualifications: What you will need to be successful in this role: - High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. - Must have at least 4 years of related experience and/or training. - Experience in supply management and logistical support functions - Must have an understanding of Military Supply Chain processes and inventory practices. - Ability to obtain a government CAC and a Secret Security Clearance (as required). - Previous experience in warehousing...
