What is a Patient Care Coordinator? - A Billing Services Coordinator is an intermediate level office role that is responsible for maintaining pleasant and consistent daily operations of the clinic. - Our Billing Services Coordinators have excellent customer service skills. - Billing Services Coordinators learn new things – a lot! The Billing Services Coordinator multitasks in multiple computer programs each day. A day in the life of a Patient Care Coordinator: - Greets everyone who enters the clinic in a friendly and welcoming manner. - Schedules new referrals received by fax or by telephone from patients, physician offices as needed - Verifies insurance coverage for patients as needed - Collects patient payments as needed - Maintains an orderly and organized front office workspace. - Other duties as assigned.
