Job description

The Advanced Practice Provider III (APP III) delivers high-level clinical care in collaboration with supervising physicians in approved settings including clinics, hospitals, and ambulatory surgery centers, consistent with Florida regulatory and credentialing requirements. Responsibilities include obtaining histories and physical exams; ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests; developing and managing treatment plans; providing patient education; coordinating referrals; prescribing medications (including controlled substances, where authorized); and performing bedside and operating room procedures within approved competencies. The APP III demonstrates advanced clinical judgment across the lifespan, participates in credentialing and licensure activities, and contributes to quality improvement, education, research, and professional service initiatives. Leadership involvement in committees and team-based projects is expected.
