​Location: Ontario Employment Type: Salaried Work Arrangement: Onsite Position Summary: The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for the activities of the General Accounting department. This role is also responsible for maintaining accounting principles and practices to ensure integrity of the company's general ledger and financial statements. Major Duties and Responsibilities: - Assists the Accounting Manager in performing the month-end close which includes preparation of journal entries for inventory usage variances, shipping accruals and variance close-outs; review and posting of all inventory related automated journal entries; review and approve the journal entries of staff before posting to the general ledger; and review financial statements for accuracy. Ensures deadlines are met. - Review variances per divisional financial statements. Review and present notes for the financial statements.
