Fabrication Supervisor

Job description

Position Summary This position supervises a team of approximately 45 to 120 hourly/direct employees within Manufacturing Operations. You will be responsible for setting day-to-day activities and monitoring production operations, maintenance, and personnel to achieve all required metrics and attainment goals. On-site 5 days a week. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Lead and support a large group of hourly employees, focusing on coaching and process execution. Quality Assurance: Ensure all quality-related items for the assigned cell are complete and documented to meet established quality standards. Operational Efficiency: Assist in cost reduction and process improvement (Lean) to ensure efficiency of operations and cost-effectiveness. Production Scheduling: Manage the sequencing of work, including build and delivery, to optimize productivity for the cell. Logistics Coordination: Coordinate activities for materials and logistics problem resolution to ensure smooth operations. Performance Monitoring: Monitor cell performance and productivity metrics to maximize output.
