Horticulture/Landscape Management Intern – Summer 2026 Expected Start Date: May 2026 (negotiable) Details: - $16.00 - $19.00 per hour (depending on qualifications) + opportunity for end of the season bonus! ($0.50 for every hour worked) - Part Time (Part-time/Temporary/Seasonal Status), Non-Exempt - Reports to Park Maintenance Supervisor - Located at Maintenance Facility (15150 Technology Drive, Eden Prairie, MN 55344) - Typical hours are Monday- Friday, 7:00am-3:00pm; occasional overtime may be required. Responsibilities: The Horticulture/Landscape Management Intern accomplishes tasks within a team environment to provide the citizens of Eden Prairie and other users of the City’s parks system with properly maintained and aesthetically pleasing facilities. This position is responsible for the following areas of impact: - Provides maintenance to City park grounds. (mowing, turf maintenance, tree/shrub pruning) - Performs specific gardening functions on City owned landscape areas (i.e. planting activities, weeding, mulching beds) - Assists in installs and/or maintenance of park hardscapes (retaining walls, paver walkways and patio areas). - Supports special user groups or events, such...
