Description The Middlebury College School of Hebrew is pleased to announce a vacancy for a temporary Teacher Assistant. The position is available for the summer 2022 session, located on the Middlebury College campus in Middlebury, Vermont. Our programs combine a cultural immersion environment with rigorous daily classroom instruction. This is a unique opportunity to join and work with a community of Hebrew learners and instructors both inside and outside the classroom. We are looking for a Teacher’s Assistant with demonstrated excellence in Modern Hebrew with the ability to lead co-curricular activities that are an integral part of the language curriculum. General responsibilities include but are not limited to: - 20 hours of work per week - Assisting instructors with homework sessions and tutoring students 1-on-1 or in small groups - Assisting instructors with daily office hours (consulting with students and faculty about course content, homework, etc.) - Assisting students with library and/or technological resources - Attending school-specific events, meals, and other specified activities - Working cooperatively with others and accepting direction from supervisors - Other duties...
