Nuclear Forensics Policy/Program Analyst

Job description

This position is for a Technical Support Policy Analyst to assist the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Office of Nuclear Forensics (NA-83). This position will support NA-83 management in the coordination and integration of programmatic and interagency efforts, including meeting support, document creation, communications, and coordination of products related to the NA-83 and NNSA mission. The focus will be providing support to technical nuclear forensics programs and directly reporting to NA-83 management. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Develop nuclear forensics (NF) planning documents and improvement plans to support. - Brief Office of Nuclear Forensics management and interact at leadership levels; interactions will include working directly with interagency, NA-83 management, DOE laboratories, and international partners. - Coordinate interagency generated NF documents; synthesize technical information; conduct comment adjudication; involving direct interface with multiple agencies and national laboratories. - Support strategic communications planning and execution as it applies to Office of Nuclear Forensics efforts within the DOE/NNSA, DoD, and the interagency. - Provide in...
