Security Officer | Per Diem | Rotating Shift

Job description

Summary Security Officers shall be responsible for activities necessary to ensure the stability and safety of patients, staff members and visitors, in accordance with regulations and policies of the Security Department. Compensation starts at $ 21.48 with shift differentials starting at 3pm ($3/hr) and 11pm ($5/hr) Education: High school or equivalent (GED). Certification, Registration & Licensure: Experience Needed: Experience required includes:* Skills in conflict resolution and/or demonstrated ability to be effective in high stress, or emergent situations. * Prior experience providing quality customer service. * Ability to interact with people from diverse social, economic and ethnic backgrounds. * Prior experience in analyzing situations and take quick, effective and reasonable courses of action. * Ability to write reports. * Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directives. * Skills in computer competency.
