Job Description The Neighborhood Contract Manager (NCM) will be responsible for cost estimates, scoping physical work and performing physical inspections of work performed. This role reports directly to the Neighborhood Administrator and will work closely with Supers and other Property Management staff to oversee contractors and contracted work at the development level. The NCM will also coordinate with central procurement to ensure contracted work is performed ethically and at a reasonable cost. Oversight of Contracts: - Review requisition packages from developments, using a cost estimation tool to ensure quotes are reasonable. - Assess scopes of work to determine the optimal procurement pathway. - Review contractors' submissions of subcontractors for approval and ensuring agency review. - Authorize the issuance of work to vendors. - Review contractor payments. - Manage vendor communication regarding non-performance.
