Rooftop Installer Job Description Classification/Position Type: Non-Exempt/Full-Time/Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (40 Hours/Week) with occasional evening and weekend overtime. Reports To: Rooftop Site Lead Overview: Working under the direct supervision of the Rooftop Site Lead, the Rooftop Installer will play a significant role in the installation of solar panels and related components on commercial structures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Rooftop Installer will be responsible for the assembly, installation, and/or maintenance of photovoltaic (PV) systems on roofs or other commercial structures in compliance with site assessments, plans, and specifications. The Rooftop Installer will also be responsible for the following duties (but not limited to): - Responsible for configuring, installing, inspecting, and maintaining Solar PV Systems for commercial customers as well as assessing the installation environment to identify and address any potential hazards and taking necessary steps to mitigate them. - Responsible for accurately mapping out the placement of components based on provided diagrams and ensuring the system is effectively sealed against weathe...
