Job Summary Job Title: Richmond East Urgent Primary Care Clinic (UPCC) Physician Work Site: #95-10551 Shellbridge Way, Richmond, BC, V6W 2W9 Status: Part-Time Start Date: ASAP Compensation Type: Clinical Services Contract Come work as a Primary Care Physician with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)! This is an opportunity for a Family Physician (FP) or Emergency Physician (EP) to work in a part-time or full-time position at the new Richmond East Urgent and Primary Care Clinic (UPCC) that opened in April 2024. The UPCC provides urgent care for patients with non-life-threatening injuries, illnesses, and conditions that should be addressed within 12 to 24 hours, but do not require the service and expertise of a hospital emergency department (CTAS 3,4,5). The new Richmond East UPCC is a brand new clinic open to patients of all ages. It is located in East Richmond and is easily accessible by transit. Richmond East UPCC is open 365 days a year with hours of operation 0800-2200 Monday to Saturday (including statutory holidays) and 0900-1700 on Sundays.UPCC provides team-based care with physicians working closely with nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and social workers.
