Description The University of Washington Department of Family Medicine seeks a Part-Time (0.6 FTE) Palliative Care Clinician with their primary board in Family Medicine. The applicant will be appointed as Clinical Assistant Professor – Salaried. This position will be entirely clinical with an anticipated start date of January 1, 2026, or soon thereafter. 0.6 cFTE will include both call and non-call duties inclusive of cross coverage for patients at Harborview Medicial Center (HMC), University of Washington Medical Center Montlake (UWMC-ML), University of Washington Medical Center Northwest (UWMC-NW) and Fred Hutch Cancer Center (FHCC). As a palliative care physician, you are a member of a care consultative team providing palliative care consultation to medical teams, patients and families, nursing and social services, and spiritual care staff. This position is responsible for providing palliative care independently and collaboratively with appropriate privileges, including initial and ongoing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patient’s medical, physical and psychosocial status.
