This role will conceive original ideas for new products and lead product development from requirements definition through production release, with particular focus on simulation-driven design validation and contact system optimization. Your main tasks: - Participate in global product development project teams as the engineer responsible for new product design - Create product concept (presentations) for distribution to internal and external stakeholders - Coordinate prototyping of new product designs when needed to verify design elements or to provide samples to customers - Produce detailed 3D designs and 2D drawings of injection-molded and precision-stamped electro-mechanical components and assemblies - Perform advanced FEM (finite element modeling) simulations for mechanical stress analysis, thermal sim...
