We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Newport to assist with the appointment of a Driver/Operative, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay : £13.68 - £17.67 per hour Summary: The Driver/General Operative will work within the Waste Management team supporting Public Protection and Environmental Services. The role involves carrying out street cleansing duties in line with contractual requirements and daily route schedules, while also driving Council vehicles when operationally required. Responsibilities: Essentials : Understanding of the demands and requirements of working within the public sector. Ability to work independently and use initiative.
