PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: The Specialist Remediation manages a portfolio of sites within CPKC’s Environmental Remediation (Environmental Accrual) Program, identifying, assessing, and reporting environmental risks. This role designs and implements remedial strategies in alignment with regulatory requirements and CPKC’s 10‑year strategic plan, while supporting remediation and risk evaluations tied to negotiations, litigation, and land transactions. The Specialist also contributes to the growth of CPKC’s remediation programs and services and is accountable for safety, environmental performance, productivity, and financial stewardship.
