Department: Office of Research Protections and Compliance The Office of Research Protections and Compliance (ORPC) provides a centralized resource to ensure UMBC conducts its research activities in a manner consistent with federal, state and institutional regulatory requirements. ORPC collaborates with the UMBC community to follow the highest ethical standards governing research and creative achievement activities. The Research Compliance Program Areas include: Responsibilities: The University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) is seeking a full‑time, temporary IRB Compliance Assistant (General Assistant) to support the daily operations of the Institutional Review Board. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in research compliance, regulatory administration as well as gaining experience in a university research environment. This is a full-time Contingent I/temporary position with an initial contract for six months with the possibility of renewal.
