We are accepting applications for the following position: KITCHEN STEWARD The Kitchen Steward will be helping in the successful operation of the culinary department by ensuring sanitation and food standards are achieved; keeping the back of the house clean and organized. QUALIFICATIONS: - Ensure cleaning schedule is adhered to the required standard - Sweep, mop and polish the kitchen and back of house - Wash, clean and polish equipment - Maintain purchases, receiving and food storage standards - Ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standards - Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations - Follow proper handling and right temperature of all food products - Operate and maintain all department equipment and reports malfunctions - Assist in all related duties as delegated by the Head Chef or Supervisor - Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a high-volume hotel and restaurant environment as a Kitchen Steward or a similar role - Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well in environment with time constraints - Ability to troubleshoot effectively - Detail-oriented with good organizational skills, performing work accurately and efficiently - Demonstrated go...
