We invite Ob/Gyn Physicians to discover all that we can do when we bring healing hearts, inquisitive minds and visionaries together in our Women's Service Line at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. We are searching for 4 Ob/Gyn Hospitalists to complement our current cohort and help provide 24/7 double in-house attending physician coverage. Our current team is comprised of 7 Academic Generalists and 3 Academic Hospitalists who educate, supervise, and provide patient care alongside residents physicians. Current or recent academic experience is strongly preferred. Duties and responsibilities include: - Inpatient Obstetrics : We supervise residents and medical students on Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Triage units. We also supervise APPs who provide care in our OB Triage unit as well as CNMs on Labor and Delivery. We perform approximately 3500 deliveries per year and manage both high-risk and low-risk patients.
