Description Title : Area Manager: Department : Retail: Reports to : President: Schedule : Full-time/Exempt: POSITION SUMMARY: The Café Area Manager is responsible for all Madison cafes and will work primarily in the field, providing hands-on coaching, training and operations support to achieve positive financial results in the spirit of Colectivo Coffee’s Mission, Values, and Culture. The Area Manager will provide leadership to deliver a remarkable experience for our customers and co-workers as it relates to Colectivo Coffee’s Mission and Values. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Team Management: - Hire, train and develop cafe leadership/managers using Colectivo’s principles. - Maintain optimal cafe staffing levels and assess recruiting strategies as needed. - Work alongside the people team to handle human resources tasks including onboarding, new hire training and register training. Operations Oversight: - Mentor, train, and coach managers and leadership team on various café operations aspects such as customer experience, scheduling, recruitment, teamwork, sales forecasting, payroll...
