Press Helper Apprentice 1. Program Overview The Press Helper Apprentice Training Program is a structured, competency‑based development pathway designed to train eligible Material Handler employees for advancement to the position of Press Helper. The program spans approximately six (6) months and establishes the minimum skill requirements, training methods, and evaluation standards necessary for progression. There will be an assessment at 30/60/90 to evaluate if the candidate is on a successful path to completing the program. 2. Candidate Eligibility Requirements To be considered for entry into the Press Helper Apprentice Training Program, candidates must meet the following minimum criteria: 2.1 Technical and Physical Capabilities 2.2 Professional Attributes Candidates will be initially assessed by the Press Supervisor or Press Manager prior to acceptance into the program. 3. Training Expectations and Skill Development Throughout the six‑month training period, apprentices are expected to acquire the following technical, organizational, and leadership skills.
