Company: Allegheny Health Network Job Description: This position will work at several locations with the primary site being AGH. GENERAL OVERVIEW: Implement AHN Radiation Safety program and radiation physics department quality goals and objectives by providing essential technical support to ensure compliance with PA DEP, TJC, CMS and DOH regulations across the AHN enterprise. Major responsibilities include: compliance and accreditation testing and documentation for imaging equipment, oversight and auditing of radioactive materials/radiation safety program, maintenance of personnel dosimetry program, development and oversight of quality control programs for imaging equipment and patient dose metrics, radiation safety training of AHN staff, direct patient care radiation safety support, quality assurance testing for radiation measuring equipment, radiation emergency response and overall support of Radiation Physics management and staff.
