R&D- Technician

Job description

The Commercialization Engineering Team is seeking a R&D Technician to support the commercialization process for new and existing paint products. This role is accountable for executing routine experiments, recording results, and demonstrating basic knowledge of raw materials and basic equipment/computing tools to capture and record data. This role has familiarity with scientific principles, products and/ or processes. This role functions under moderate supervision and communicates within the department. This role is responsible for independently performing basic tasks, although support from supervisor may be needed for more challenging and complex tasks. This role is accountable for contributing to the execution of projects and/or the solution of problems of minimal to moderate complexity. Job duties include contact with other employees and access to confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised.
