Hourly Pay Range: $19.89 - $28.84 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Medical Assistant/Patient Support Assistant: Position Highlights: - Position: Medical Assistant/Patient Support Assistant - Location: Des Plaines, IL - Full Time/Part Time: Full Time - Hours: Monday - Thursday 7am to 6:30pm, Friday 7am to 5:30pm, with rotating Saturdays 7am-1pm - Required Travel: Travel to other sites based upon department need What you will do: - Answer phones - Schedule appointments - Collect co-payments - Complete patient registration - Provide other administrative support to the physician practice - Check in and check out patient - Verify insurances - Greet patients and escort them to exam room - Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for office visit - Provide front office support as needed - Perform basic vitals like BP, height and weight - Phlebotomy and injections may be required What you will need: - Education: High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required.
