Job Description Summary The global energy transition is accelerating the demand for cleaner, more reliable electricity transmission. High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) and Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS) are key enablers for integrating renewable energy interconnecting markets and strengthening AC grids. GE Vernova’s Grid Systems Integration business delivers ACS (Alternating Current Systems), HVDC (VSC and LCC technologies) and FACTS applications. The Senior Technical Expert– Control & Protection will act as the regional technical expert supporting project execution, technology deployment, and competence development across assigned geographies. This position bridges the global R&D and Consulting Engineer organization with local project teams, ensuring consistent application of best practices, technical quality, and product knowledge across the regional project portfolio.
