JOB SUMMARY: The Department of Public Works (DPW) Nighttime Fuel Attendant will safely pump and track diesel and gasoline distributed through the PETROL Depot fuel station after hours, in the evenings (usually 6pm - 2am, but give or take a couple hours based on workload). They will interface courteously with staff, vendors, and participants and will be responsible for accurately entering fuel fill information with both tracking technology and paperwork. This temporary, ineligible for benefits role is: The deadline to apply for this role is 5:00 pm Pacific on April 3rd. - From August - September : Full-Time , Non-Exempt , based Black Rock City, Nevada . DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Operations (60%): - Fill fuel truck tanks in the evening so they are ready to go out in the morning. - Shut down all pumps and emergency shut-off switches at the end of the day and go through the fuel shut-down checklist. - Help with the setup and breakdown of the PETROL Depot as directed (if onsite).
