Principal Engineer Location: La Verne, CA Salary: $150K – $165K SUMMARY: This position is responsible for guiding engineering department activities to design new products, modify existing designs, improve production techniques, and develop test procedures. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This individual has the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned tasks. Guides department activities to design new products, modify existing designs, improve production techniques, and develop test procedures. Prepares engineering specifications and qualification plans for new product development efforts. Supports the team to ensure the company maintains a technical competitive advantage. Ensures designs follow sound engineering practices to meet performance, reliability, cost and quality goals. Directs the work performed by the team to assure quality, timeliness and within budget restrictions. Follows and refines the company product development process, conducts design reviews and interfaces with other engineers and departments to ensure an efficient transfer from design to production.
