As a Senior Staff Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of OCI's infrastructure. Your expertise will be instrumental in turning abstract goals into robust architecture, ensuring production success, and influencing technical strategies across teams. This hands-on leadership position involves mentoring senior engineers and setting high standards for reliability, security, observability, and responsible AI delivery. Responsibilities: - Lead the architecture, implementation, testing, rollout, and operation of high-scale distributed systems, APIs, services, data pipelines, platform components, and security product capabilities. - Own multi-quarter, multi-team initiatives end to end, from ambiguous product, customer, and security requirements through design, execution, launch, observability, and production support. - Architect for reliability, scalability, low latency, multi-tenancy, fault isolation, backpressure, graceful degradation, data consistency, and operational visibility. - Design and operate security-sensitive product capabilities at scale, including identity boundaries, authorization and policy controls, auditability, threat signals, secrets handling, co...
