Job description

Everforth ECS Federal is looking for a Junior software developer that develops, creates, and modifies general computer applications software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions. Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. May analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team. May collaborate directly with customers on requirements gathering and software issues. Assists with software manual creation and maintenance. Work is performed under supervision Qualifications: - CompTIA Security+ Certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months) - 0-3 years of development experience - Bachelor’s degree or work experience substitute - Basic Knowledge of Java, HTML5 technologies, Spring, RHEL, SQL, JavaScript, XML, Agile methodologies, WebLogic, Gradle/Maven/Ant, Python. - Experience with or ability to learn ticketing system (ServiceNow) - Ability to follow documented processes, SOPs and escalation procedures - Basic troubleshooting skills and logical problem-solving ability - Knowledge of DoD transportat...
