Job description
The Payroll Process Specialist is responsible for designing end-to-end HR processes and contributing to business decisions for the implementation of a new payroll system. This role involves mapping out existing payroll processes, participating in design sessions and system test activities, and identifying any implementation roadblocks to coordinate with leadership for mitigation. Additionally, the Payroll Process Specialist is accountable for identifying and defining business process changes, reviewing, controlling, and requesting changes, as well as analyzing their impacts. Note: This position qualifies for an optional hybrid work schedule after 90 days of onsite work and onboarding. Employee will be subject to the terms of the Flexible Work Policy Agreement. What you'll do: - Process payroll and all payroll-related tasks including timecards, adjustments, ROEs, benefits and remittances. - Support reconciliations by reviewing payroll balances and GL accounts, investigating discrepancies, and assisting with accurate and timely tax remittances. - Supports business process decisions for the payroll project, including both business process design and technology design considerations wh...
