Sr Maintenance Planner

Job description

Description: The responsibility of the Maintenance Planner is to effectively and properly plan maintenance work using prior mechanical/electrical experience, process and equipment knowledge, and SAP. The planner is responsible for prioritizing work requests, specifying parts, and completing proper job plans for the maintenance department. The planner also ensures BOM accuracy and helps improve asset preventative maintenance plans. This person will be expected to be attentive to details, utilizing critical thinking and reasoning skills to efficiently and effectively prioritize and plan the work that needs to be done to ensure maximized machine uptime and reliability and improve workforce productivity and quality by eliminating waste in time, parts, cost, and machine breakdowns. The Maintenance Planners is responsible for delivering improved safety, quality, and performance in the execution of maintenance activities. This position is an 8-hour day shift role and reports to the Maintenance Leader.
