Job description

The successful Plane Captain -Line Mech performs aircraft handling, servicing, daily and turn around inspections as required. Provides pre-operational inspections and fuels ground support equipment, technical assistance, guidance and instruction to employees. Essential Responsibilities: Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested. - Performs daily and turn around inspections as required to the applicable procedures. - Initiates and completes applicable maintenance forms. - Performs Aircraft fuel sampling/servicing as required IAW established procedures. - Launches and recovers aircraft. - Serves as aircraft taxi director during launch and recovery operations. - Tows aircraft and act as aircraft brake rider when required. - Ties down and covers aircraft utilizing established procedures. - Provides technical, assistance, guidance and instruction as required. - Utilizes two-way communication equipment as required. - Ensures compliance with Foreign Object Damage (FOD), Hazardous Waste, Egress Familiarization, and Tool Control programs. - Ensures compliance with all established general and industrial safety rules and regulations as applicable to the contract, faci...
