POSITION SUMMARY: The Schizophrenia and Community Integration Service (SCIS) provides specialized, recovery focused care to adults and older adults diagnosed with schizophrenia and related psychotic disorders and has a wide continuum of services including three tertiary inpatient units; a transitional outpatient program; an outpatient clinic; four assertive community treatment teams; early intervention for psychosis outpatient clinic; peer support; community treatment order program; and centralized rehabilitation services. The role of the SCIS neuropsychologist is to plan, conduct, guide and provide expert psychological and neuropsychological services in consultation to interprofessional treatment teams across all SCIS inpatient and outpatient programs in collaboration with other SCIS psychology staff and members of the centralized Clinical Neuropsychology Service. Professional services include providing evidence-based psychological and neuropsychological assessment and consultation, as well as psychological treatment, in line with the mission and values of St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton.
