Lead - Production (AM & PM Shifts)

Job description

As a Production Lead you will oversee, monitor and coordinate the work for their assigned production team. Working with the Production Manager to plan work and meet goals. Ensuring that all required information, training, and teams goals are communicated to team members. You will report on team successes and challenges to the Production Supervisor/Manager. While working with other leads, supervisors and managers within the plant to help their team achieve production goals timely. You will help team members with common questions, training, and concerns. Elevating concerns as necessary to plant leadership. Responsibilities: Qualifications: - Identify issues, problems, and solutions in areas of safety, quality, and production - Maintain safe and clean work environment by leading by example and assisting supervisor in monitoring the use of all control points, equipment, and resources - Adhere to, train, and help to enforce compliance to Environmental, Health and Safety procedures - Work with support groups including New Product Development, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and the Warehouse to complete production in a timely manner - Teach, guide, oversee, and organize employees to c...
