Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Location: Outpatient Offices (must be flexible to work in multiple locations) About the Role: We are seeking a F loat Registration Specialist to support outpatient clinics by ensuring smooth patient flow and accurate registration processes. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys helping teams where needed. Onboarding includes Cerner training and shadowing with other registration float employees to learn multiple office workflows. Key Responsibilities: Facilitate patient flow from entry to destination in a timely, professional manner Obtain and verify financial and demographic information for accurate billing and clinical outcomes Schedule appointments and procedures: Interview patients for medical information and explain charges and policies Validate and enter charges into appropriate systems; collect necessary payments Answer incoming calls and direct patients and visitors appropriately Top Skills Needed for Success: Customer Service: Team Player: Positive Attitude: Compassion: Healthcare experience: Culture: This role supports short-staffed clinics , requiring flexibility and adaptability.
