DEPARTMENT: Public Health POSITION TITLE: Lecturer Pool – Hospitality and Tourism Management POSITION DETAILS: Hospitality and tourism are among California’s fastest-growing and most influential industries, offering diverse career opportunities across local, national, and global contexts while contributing to economic development, community vitality, and quality of life. Health and wellness tourism is a rapidly growing sector in the industry. The Hospitality and Tourism Management (HTM) program, housed within the Department of Public Health, seeks part-time lecturers to teach courses in our BS and Minor in Hospitality and Tourism Management degrees. In particular, we are looking for faculty with experience and expertise is: Instructors are sought for morning, afternoon, and evening class schedules, delivered via online, hybrid, and in-person instruction. Duties of a part-time lecturer include instruction, class preparation, grading, and office hours. Other duties may be assigned based on departmental needs.
