Highways Apprentice Technician | 10366 | Permanent Contract | 37 hours per week | £25,989 to £28,142 per annum depending on qualifications and experience (Scale D/E) | County Hall, Norwich Norfolk County Council is seeking keen, enthusiastic, and self‑motivated individuals to join our Highways teams as part of the Highways Apprentice Technician Training Programme. This is an excellent opportunity to begin a career in civil engineering and highways, supported by structured training, rotational placements, and professional development. You will work across a range of Highways teams through rotational placements designed to maximise your learning and experience. This will include supporting the delivery of highways projects, inspections, and maintenance activities, and developing technical skills in civil engineering, data collection, problem‑solving, and project support. Through this work, you will contribute to the safe and effective management of Norfolk’s highway network.
