STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is searching for Fabrication Mechanic - Polish Operator - 2nd shift to join the team. This position is responsible for cleaning, deburring, polishing, grit blasting, and/or grinding manufactured parts. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. 2nd shift: Monday - Thursday 3:15PM - 1:45AM / $1.00 Shift Differential Job Description: - Inspects parts for defects and material handling damage - Scrapes or rubs parts with file, wire brush, or buffing cloth - Mounts tools on revolving spindle for abrasive finishing and deburring. - Able to change out tooling such as rubberized abrasives and bench grinder abrasive wheels as needed - Holds part against deburring / grinding wheel to deburr tube surfaces or grind weld beads Deburrs or polishes parts - Operates Dremel with Scotchbrite or abrasive wheel to polish parts - Uses Flex-hone (Wire-brush) when indicated on operational instructions - Operates hand held Die-Grinde...
